Erotic shocker “Feuchtgebiete” soon in Cinema

Director Peter Wend completed filming on the scandalous adaptation of the bestseller “Feuchtgebiete” in Potsdam at the weekend. The film is scheduled for release in German cinemas in summer 2013. The Babelsberg Film Academy graduate, who won many awards with his debut feature “Kriegerin,” cast the taboo-breaking plot with Swiss starlet Carla Juri, who is still relatively unknown in this country, in the leading role of Helen, German film actress Meret Becker (“Boxhagener Platz”) and Axel Milberg (“Alemanya-Wilkommen in Deutschland”). The book is a sex comedy and is about “a young woman trying to satisfy her lust for life and find her place in it,” describes Majestic film distribution, promising that the fast-paced story, which explicitly addresses provocative taboos such as hemorrhoids, sperm, pus and blood, will leave no one cold. Filming took place under strict secrecy in Berlin and Mallorca and lasted 37 days. The producers are “Rommel Film” in cooperation with ZDF. Charlotte Roche’s follow-up novel “Schoßgebete” is also currently being shot with successful director Sönke Wortmann (“Die Päpstin”) is currently filming.
